When the snow starts to fall and the Lakes Region transforms into a winter wonderland, my husband and I find ourselves looking for ways to embrace the season. It’s been YEARS since I’ve hit the slopes, but the idea of revisiting skiing has sparked some excitement—especially since my husband is eager for a new winter hobby. With New Hampshire boasting some of the best ski mountains in the Northeast, we’ve been exploring options that offer a mix of stunning scenery, varied terrain, and fun activities. From family-friendly resorts to slopes that challenge seasoned skiers, here are five top mountains that caught our eye for a winter adventure!
